Members’ Monthly Mixer

The nglccNY Members' Monthly Mixer (M3) is THE not-to-be-missed LGBT business networking event each month.  Bring your business cards and make powerful connections with hundreds of fellow LGBT and allied businesses owners, Certified LGBTBE® suppliers, corporate procurement and diversity leaders, LGBT nonprofits, and even the occasional local celebrity or two.  Need any help breaking the ice? No problem: that is what the nglccNY Ambassadors are here to do for you.  We know there is no shortage of places in NYC for LGBT people to connect, but when you're at an nglccNY M3 that means you are looking to help your business thrive-- and we have the connections to make it happen.

Prepare

  • Have business cards.
  • Practice your pitch.
  • Know what you are selling.
  • Know your audience.

Connect (during the event)

  • Leverage Ambassadors and Executive Committee to make connections.
  • Diversify your targets and maximize opportunity by meeting a mix of corporates, small-medium sized enterprises and non-profits.
  • Ask for the business card – and give yours.

Follow-up (post event)

  • Qualify to ensure potential in contact.
  • Pursue by connecting and meeting.
  • Explore to search for synergy.
  • Continue rapport throughout.
